Latvian amb. in Egypt hails depth of joint ties

CAIRO– 9 October 2017: Latvian Ambassador here Iveta Šulca lauded the depth of relations binding Egypt with her country at all levels especially the parliamentary ones.

This came during a meeting held between the Parliament's Secretary General Ahmed Saad Eldin with Šulca on Monday.

The ambassador pointed out to forming the parliamentary friendship association between Egypt and Latvia at the Latvian Parliament, adding that she is looking forward to the formation of a similar association in the Egyptian House of Representatives.

For his part, Saad Eldin welcomed the Latvian diplomat, stressing the importance of enhancing bilateral ties.
