BAGHDAD, 5 October 2017 - Three suicide bombers were killed during clashes with Iraqi forces in southern Ramadi city of Iraq, Al Anbar Operations Command said on Thursday.
Security forces clashed with three militants affiliated to Daesh terrorist group, wearing explosive belts, and managed to kill them in al Tash area, southern Ramadi city, al Sumareya News reported, quoting a source in al Anbar Operations Command as saying.
Iraqi forces are now in full control over al Tash area and have succeeded to foil an infiltration attempt by suicide bombers into the area, the source noted.
Ramadi city is now under the full control of Iraqi security troops and tribes after its liberation from Daesh in February of 2016.
Since then, some terrorists have been repeatedly attempting to infiltrate into the city but forces manage to kill them on the spot.
