Egypt condemns terrorist act in Budaiya, Bahrain

CAIRO – 3 October 2017: Egypt strongly denounces the terrorist act that occurred in Budaiya in northwestern Bahrain injuring five policemen, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.

In the statement, Egypt has expressed its condolences to the Bahraini government and people, confirming again that Egypt stands beside Bahrain in combating all forms of terrorism, and that Bahrain will overcome these incidents and face this pernicious phenomenon.

The Bahraini Interior Ministry has launched operations to take the necessary steps to ensure security, they said in a tweet.
