CAIRO - 3 October 2017: The Arab League has expressed its regret over Monday's mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert in the United States, which killed and wounded hundreds of people.
In a statement, Mahmoud Afifi, the spokesman for the Arab League secretary general, expressed sorrow and shock, saying the incident was unjustifiable under any circumstances.
"The attack proves anew that terrorism has no religion, nation or identity, and that it has become an evil befalling all societies," he said.
He called for boosting cooperation and coordination among all countries to defeat such mounting threat.
