Libyan army accuses Qatar of financing terror groups

TRIPOLI - 2 October 2017: Spokesman for the Libyan National Army Ahmed Mismari on Sunday said Qatar continues to finance terror groups in the country.

We have documents proving the involvement of Qatari officials in crimes against the Libyan people and providing support for terrorism, Mismari told Sky News.

Qatari names had links with leading assassination operations in Benghazi from 2011 to 2013, he added, reiterating the keenness of the army on amending Skhirat agreement.
