Attempt to smuggle 125,000 EGP foiled at Cairo airport

CAIRO - 1 October 2017: Customs authorities of Cairo International Airport on Saturday foiled an attempt to smuggle a large amount of money into the country, said a customs source.

The cash, EGP 125,000, was seized with an Egyptian passenger coming from Turkey, said the source.

The authorities suspected the man upon arrival.
