“Future of a Nation” party announces new leader

CAIRO - 30 September 2017: The Egyptian political party “Future of a Nation” (Mostaqbal Watan) announced on Saturday in a general conference Ashraf Rashad as head of the party for the next four years, who won the position by acclamation.

The party held its first general conference on Saturday where Rashad gave a speech, thanking its members for their trust in him and expressing the party’s trust in President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

The Future of a Nation won 50 seats in the 2015 House of Representatives election, making it the second-largest party in Egypt's parliament.
