Yemeni army mount attack on Houthi sites in Sirwah

SANAA - 30 September 2017: The Yemeni army forces have launched a fierce attack against some Houthi sites in Sirwah district of Ma'rib governorate, killing and injuring a number of Houthi militants, local sources reported on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition aircraft mounted airstrikes on some posts of Houthi militia in Hellan district, in conjunction with artillery and rocket shelling by the Yemeni army forces.

In a related context, violent confrontations erupted in Nihm district, east of Sanaa.
