PARIS - 30 September 2017: French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe will visit Tunisia on October 5 for a meeting of the joint cooperation council.
Philippe will co-chair the meeting with Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, said the French cabinet in a press release on Friday.
The French premier will inaugurate an economic conference, titled "Les Rencontres Africa 2017 ", with more than 1000 African leaders from 30 countries and over 300 French entrepreneurs gathered.
While in the Arab country, Philippe will confer with Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi on support for Tunis.
