CAIRO – 28 September 2017: A study entitled “Qatar: The Black Book” has revealed important facts such as the existence of terrorist cells found in Doha, the cooperation between the Qatari leaders and Muslim Brotherhood, and role of Qatari media in supporting terrorism across world.
The study, issued by the research committee, “Arab-European Center to combat Extremism” in Paris, carried out detailed analysis about the most prominent members in the Qatari terrorist cell and their logistic and military role in supporting terrorism in Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Iran.
In addition, the first part of the study focused on the coup d’etat in the Qatari ruling family, the establishment of Al-Jazeera channel and the cooperation between the Qatari regime and Israel.
The study also included the main role played by Qatari intelligence in funding the terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria such as ISIS, Al-Nusra front and other Islamic factions.
The most prominent Qatar-linked terrorist members mentioned in the study
1. Abd Al-Rahman al-Nuaimi
Al-Nuaimi had been financing Al-Qaeda affiliates in Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Yemen and Lebanon with millions of dollars for years and facilitating the travel of Al-Qaeda members to Yemen.
2. Khalifa bin Mohammed al-Rabban
Al-Rabban has issued a statement defending Qatar after the decisions of states advocating for fighting against terrorism.
3. Khalifa Muhammad Turki al-Subaiy
Al-Subaiy is a U.S.-designated terrorist financier and facilitator based in Qatar. He has also funded the transit of Al-Qaeda recruits to South Asia for terrorist training, and funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars to Al-Qaeda senior leaders.
4. Abd al-Malik Muhammad
Muhammad is a jihadist of Jordanian origin, who also holds a Qatari national ID. He was involved with al-Subaiy in many terrorist acts.
5. Ashraf Muhammad Abd al-Salam
Al-Salam has delivered financial aid to the terrorist elements of Al-Nusra Front in Syria in 2012.
6. Ibrahim Issa al-Bakr
Al-Bakr has transited funds to Al-Qaeda in Pakistan and Qatari intelligence has released him with the condition of refraining from undertaking any activities inside Qatar or recruiting Qatari people.
