PM congratulates Saudi Arabia for its 87th National Day

CAIRO – 25 September 2017: Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail, congratulated on Sunday the Saudi leadership and people on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 87th National Day of its foundation.

Ismail expressed his appreciation for the political leadership of the Egyptian government and people in the Kingdom and the Saudi people.

He pointed out that the full consensus between the political visions of the two countries and their cooperation in all fields enhance stability in the Arab region.

Saudi Arabia is celebrating the 87th anniversary of its foundation this weekend with a big program of concerts and performances, including a pageant operetta on Saturday evening, which allowed women to enter the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh for the first time.

The festivities are part of a government’s move to boost national pride and improve quality of life for Saudis.
