CAIRO- 25 September,2017: No coalition will take place between German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her rival politician Martin Schulz in the future, as the latter will join the opposition, said German Ambassador to Cairo Julius Georg.

Georg added in a press statement to Egypttoday on Sunday that the only way to secure majority for Merkel is to launch a coalition between “Jamaicans”.

The “Jamaicans” refer to Christian Democratic Union- represented by the color black- the Greens – represented the color green-, and the Free Democrats (Yellow), together they make the colors of the Jamaican flag.

“In this case Merkel will act as the chancellor with an entire majority, and the those parties will negotiate during the upcoming two weeks to set the policy.”, said Georg.
Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives secured a fourth consecutive term in office on Sunday in an election.
