PM, transport minister review GARBLT projects

CAIRO - 25 September 2017: Transport Minister Hesham Arafat said Sunday his meeting with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail centered on the work progress in a number of projects being implemented by the General Authority for Roads, Bridges and Land Transport (GARBLT ).

In a press conference, the minister added that the meeting reviewed the implementation of the regional road and other main roads scheduled to be opened next month.

The minister said the launch of the third phase of the national road project in Upper Egypt was also discussed. The phase is scheduled to be completed in 2019, he added.
