Moscow warns US of shelling of SDF areas

MOSCOW - 21 September 2017: Moscow has firmly notified the US that any attempt to shell areas where Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are present will be repulsed.

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said Russian special operations forces and Syrian troops are currently carrying out missions against terrorists, Russia Today news channel reported on Thursday.

The Syrian forces restored control over 16,000 kilometers of lands to the west of Euphrates, he said.
