Awqaf min. highlights importance of uprooting extremism

CAIRO - 21 September 2017: Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa on Wednesday stressed that extremism and terrorism will be certainly uprooted.

Gomaa made the remarks in his speech at a ceremony marking the anniversary of the Hijrah of the Holy Prophet Mohammad.

The ceremony was attended by Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam, Cairo Governor Atef Abdel Hameed and a number of officials.
