Armed Forces stop 340 illegal migrants, combating Takfiris

CAIRO – 20 September 2017:The Egyptian border guards thwarted infiltration and illegal immigration attempts by 340 persons of different nationalities on as part of the Armed forces’ efforts to combat Takfiri and criminal elements from September 3 to September 18, according to the Military spokesperson.

Within the frame of this campaign, the Armed forces managed to stop the trafficking of huge amounts of different narcotic substances and destroy narcotic agriculture.

It was also able to confiscate many weapons, ammunitions, illicit goods such as smuggled mobile phones, motorcycles, and vehicles used in smuggling.

Previously, the Armed forces managed to thwart infiltration and illegal immigration attempts by 230 persons of different nationalities from August 10 to August 26, according to the Military spokesperson.

It was also able to confiscate many weapons, ammunitions, illicit goods such as smuggled mobile phones alongside motorcycles and vehicles used in smuggling.
