OIC, AL secretaries general meet in New York

NEW YORK – 19 September 2017: Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Yousef bin Ahmad al Othaimeen has met with Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Ahmed Abul Gheit on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the UNGA.

Both sides asserted the importance of cooperation and consultation between them to face issues of mutual interest especially supporting the Palestinian issue at the international gatherings, according to a statement released by OIC on Tuesday.

Also, both sides took up other Arab issues listed on their agendas
