Two militants arrested while trying to plant bomb in Sinai

CAIRO - 18 September 2017: The law enforcement forces of the third field army managed to arrest two militants while trying to plant a bomb on a road used by the forces, said Military Spokesman Colonel Tamer Al Rifai on Monday.

Also, the forces managed to find and destroy three four-wheel-drive vehicles, three motorcycles and four hotbeds used in manufacturing explosives, the spokesman added.

They also managed to destroy a warehouse containing large quantities of petroleum materials belonging to the takfiris.

Meanwhile, the law enforcement forces continue efforts to eliminate takfiri and criminal elements in central Sinai.
