Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Mohamed Abdel Atti
CAIRO - 18 Sep 2017: Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohammed Abdel Atty conferred with a visiting World Bank delegation on spheres of cooperation especially in agriculture and irrigation.
The WB delegation arrived here Sunday on a nine-day visit to review cooperation domains with the Egyptian government.
The minister also expounded his ministry's strategy till 2050 especially regarding the water quality improvement, development of legislation and laws pertaining to agriculture as well as the major projects which are currently under construction by the Egyptian government.
He also reviewed the state's directives as regards maximizing the use of water resources and plots of lands owned by the state in several development projects.
The WB delegation welcomed the ministry's policy and supported its strategy for the coming phase
