Egyptian community in New York welcomes Sisi
CAIRO – 17 September 2017: Members of the Egyptian community in New York lined up at dawn on Sunday (New York Local time), holding Egyptian flags in front of the Residence Hotel ahead of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi’s speech at the General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA).
Sisi arrived to New York on Sunday morning to participate in the 72nd General Assembly of the United Nations.
Egyptian presidential spokesperson, Ambassador Alaa Youssef, announced Sisi’s participation in the UN Security Council’s summit on reforming the peacekeeping forces’ operations.
President Sisi will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump, in addition to other key political, congressional, and economic figures in the American administration, Youssef added.
