Counter-terrorism to figure high in PA-UfM meeting:Ali Abdel Aal

CAIRO- 16 September 2017: Egypt’s Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal on Saturday said that fighting terrorism eill figure high in agenda of the meeting of the Union for the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly (PA-UfM).

Abdel Aal made the remarks while chairing the first meeting the plenary office of the PA-UfM.

Representatives from Italian and Turkish parliaments attended the get-together along with heads of the assembly’s committees.

In a statement by the Egyptian House of Representatives, Abdel Aal added the meeting tackled the establishment of a secretariat for the assembly in the coming period.

The secretariat HQ will be set up in Barcelona
