Sisi approves new chairwoman for Admin. Prosecution Authority

CAIRO – 16 September 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi ratified on Saturday the appointment of Ferial Hameed Qutb as the new chairwoman of the Administrative Prosecution Authority.

Qutb is the second female to ever fill the position, after her predecessor, Rachida Fathallah, reached the legal retirement age. President Sisi ordered a presidential decree to award Fathallah for her contributions and for the sincere, long-term efforts made during her tenure.

Throughout her career life, Qutb led several administrative positions, including as Director of the Education Prosecution, the Department of Public Prosecutions, the Department of Public Health and the Department of Public Prosecutions in Alexandria.
