Israeli soldiers, settlers attack peace activists in southern Hebron

RAMALLAH- 16 September 2017: Israeli soldiers and settlers attacked Saturday seven peace activists in Um al Khair region, south of Hebron.

One of the activists was rushed to hospital to receive treatment.

In statements on Saturday, the coordinator of the Anti-Settlement Committee in Hebron Rateb Jabour said that a quarrel took place between the settlers and the activists who tried to halt confiscating Palestinian territories to Karmiel settlement.

The Israeli forces supported the settlers and beat the activists, he noted.
