KABUL, Sept 15 2017: A car bomber attacked a patrol of troops in the NATO-led Resolute Support mission in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar on Friday, wounding some members of the patrol, the international coalition said.

"A small number of Resolute Support service members were wounded today when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device targeted their patrol in Kandahar," the coalition said in a statement.

The wounded were taken to Kandahar Airfield hospital for treatment, it said, but it gave no details about their nationality. It said more information would be released as appropriate.
