10 killed in attack on village southwestern Sudan - Press photo
KHARTOUM - 15 September 2017: At least 10 people were killed and 11 others wounded on Thursday in an attack by armed group on Tempasi village 100 km south the capital of state of south Darfur Nyala, in southwest of Sudan.
An armed group attacked the village, killing two people and wounding four others, and then escaped the crime scene.
However, a large number of villagers tracked the group down and set an ambush for them. As a result, clashes broke out between both sides, leaving eight dead and seven others injured.
Police were notified about the incident and started to hunt down the perpetrators of the attack.
