CAIRO – 14 September 2017: Egyptian and Arab communities from Berlin, Frankfurt and a number of German states will hold a protest on Thursday in front of the Adlon Hotel, the residence of Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad during his visit to Berlin.

This came in a statement issued by the Association of Communities and the Egyptian community in Berlin.

Another protest will be held on Friday in front of the German chancellery building in Berlin under the slogan "No to terrorism", denouncing Qatar's policy of supporting terrorism and financing in Arab countries, the statement added.

Since June 5, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have turned on Qatar with a complete air and trade boycott over allegations of its support and sponsorship of terrorism, which Doha denies.

Following the Arab boycott of Doha, a list of 13 demands was handed to Doha’s government by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain for reconciliation, which includes the closing of Al Jazeera broadcasting and the suspension of its cozy relationship with the extremist government of Iran.

Since then, Qatar has resisted reconciliation attempts and has not shown any efforts in disassociating itself from the terrorist groups that the Arab quartet says are harbored and financially supported by Doha.
