CAIRO – 13 September 2017: Five takfiris and two soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack that was foiled successfully in North Sinai Wednesday morning according to army spokesperson Tamer El-Refai.
Two other takfiris were injured during the attack.
According to Refai’s statement on his official Facebook page, some of the takfiri elements tried to take advantage of the mist over Sinai to storm one of the army’s checkpoints. “One of them [terrorists] was wearing an explosive belt,” the statement read.
The terrorists plan, however was foiled as the military forces confronted them, killing five and injuring two others.
