Arab FMs support for constitutional legitimacy in Yemen

CAIRO - 12 September 2017: The Council of the Arab League on Tuesday voiced support for the constitutional legitimacy in Yemen under President Abdu-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

The council reiterated support for the measures taken by the legitimate government in Yemen to end the coup and restore stability in the country.

In the closing session of the 148th session of the Arab League (AL) council at the level of Arab foreign ministers, the Arab top diplomats stressed commitment to Yemen's unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

They vowed continuous and unlimited support for the UN efforts in Yemen as well as the efforts of UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh.
