Environment Minister confers with Swiss envoy on cooperation

CAIRO - 12 September 2017: Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy on Monday met with Swiss Ambassador to Cairo Paul Garnier.

During the meeting, ways of promoting cooperation, especially in the fields of Air pollution and energy efficiency, between Egypt and Switzerland were discussed.

Garnier invited Fahmy to attend the first meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention on Mercury (COP1), scheduled to take place from 24 to 29 September at the International Conference Center in Geneva.
