Tajik amb. says relations with Cairo developed over past years

CAIRO - 11 Sep 2017: Tajik Ambassador in Cairo Khusrav Noziri has said that relations between his country and Egypt have tangibly developed over the past years.

Speaking in a ceremony marking the 26th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence Sunday night, Noziri said the leaders of Egypt and Tajikistan had agreed in May to act to further boost bilateral relations.

He made it clear that Dushanbe will host a forum, the second of its kind, on cooperation between the Arab world and countries in Central Asia and Azerbaijan.

Hopefully, the forum would help enhance political, economic, trade and cultural cooperation between Central Asian countries and the Arab world, the diplomat said.
