Sobhi flies to South Korea to meet his counterpart

CAIRO – 9 September 2017: Egypt’s Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi left Cairo Saturday to South Korea, where he will meet his counterpart Song Young-moo.

Sobhi and his accompanying high-profile delegation were invited by the South Korean Defense Ministry to visit the country for several days. The visit is expected to involve intensive meetings on the latest regional and international developments and efforts undertaken to achieve stability and peace in the region.

Earlier in March, Egypt and South Korea inked a memorandum of understanding to expand mutual defense cooperation.
