OIC condemns Israeli decision to build settlement units in Al Quds

JEDDAH - 9 Sep 2017: Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Youssef Al Othaimeen strongly condemned the Israeli occupation authorities' decision to build 4,000 settlement units in the occupied city of Al Quds.

Al Othaimeen also warned of the gravity of the Israeli decision to form a council to manage settlers' affairs in Hebron, considering the building of settlements as an act of aggression against the rights of Palestinians.

He reiterated his call to the UN Security Council to shoulder its responsibilities, put an end to Israel's settlement policy and compel Israel to respect its international obligations.
