11 Taliban members killed in U.S. drone attack in Afghanistan

KABUL – 8 September 2017: At least 11 Taliban insurgents were killed in an air strike conducted by the U.S. forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, the Afghan news agency Khaama Press reported.

According to local officials, the strike was carried out late on Thursday afternoon in the vicinity of Bati Kot district.

The officials further added that the militants were hanging out in the area when they were targeted, leaving 11 of them dead and one more wounded.
