Namnam to resume work after undergoing medial examinations

CAIRO - 7 September 2017: Minister of Culture Helmy el Namnam will resume work on Thursday after undergoing medial examinations in Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Giza.

Ministry Spokeswoman, Sahar el-Melegy, said in a statement to MENA that the minister underwent catheterization at Sheikh Zayed Hospital upon the recommendation of Minister of Health Emad el-Din, who supervised the medical examinations.

Melegy explained that Namnam felt exhausted while returning home after a normal work day at the office on Wednesday. He then reportedly phoned the health minister, who recommended Namnam undergo medical examinations at the hospital.

The examinations took four to five hours to be completed, then Namnam returned home as his medical condition was stable, Melegy explained.
