CAIRO – 5 September 2017: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi reviewed with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi the sustainable economic program and the national projects currently being implemented, as well as the process adopted to lure investment in Egypt, according to the presidential statement issued on Tuesday.
On the fringe of the BRICS summit, Modi praised the Egyptian efforts exerted to push forward the developmental process in Egypt which encouraged the Indian companies to invest $3 billion in Egypt.
Meanwhile, Sisi and Modi expressed their enthusiasm for cooperation between the two countries in a number of domains, especially in the training and rehabilitation labors.
They tackled coordination between the two countries internationally, expressing the importance of bilateral consultation between Egypt and India regarding issues with common interest.
