Libyan parliament speaker receives French FM

TOBRUK - 5 September 2017: Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives Aqilah Saleh received French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in Tobruk on Monday, Libya's Al-Wasat online newspaper reported.

The meeting was attended by French ambassador to Libya Brigitte Curmi and a number of political advisors at the French Foreign Ministry.

Earlier in the day, Le Drian arrived in Tripoli where he met with Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al-Seraj and military commander Khalifa Haftar.
