Damietta Port receives 2 vessels over past 24 hours

DAMIETTA - Egypt - 2 September 2017: Damietta Port received over the past 24 hours a container ship and cargo vessel, the Damietta Port Authority said in a statement on Saturday.

A cargo vessel left the harbor.

Up to 18 vessels are docked at the anchorage area waiting for their entrance procedures to be completed, the statement added.

The port's grain silo is currently containing 176,416 tons of wheat along with 61,692 tons at the private sector's stores, it noted.
