Public Business Sector Law authorized for antiquities investment

CAIRO - 29 August 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi issued a presidential decree authorizing the minister in charge of investment affairs in the antiquities sector to enforce the provisions of law on public business sector companies with respect to the holding company of investment in the fields of antiquities and dissemination of archaeological culture.

The new decree rescinds a previous one which tasks the culture minister to enforce the same provisions.

The decree was published in the official gazette.
