Armed forces stop 230 illegal immigrants, combating Takfiris

CAIRO – 29 August 2017: The Egyptian border guards thwarted infiltration and illegal immigration attempts by 230 persons of different nationalities on Tuesday as a part of Armed forces efforts to combat Takfiri and criminal elements from August 10 to August 26, 2017, according to the Military spokesperson.

Within this campaign, the Armed forces could also stop huge amounts of different narcotic substances and destroy six acres of narcotic agriculture.

It was also able to confiscate many weapons, ammunitions, illicit goods such as smuggled mobile phones alongside motorcycles and vehicles used in smuggling.
