230 people arrested over illegal migration attempts

CAIRO - 29 Aug 2017: Military Spokesman Tamer el Refaie said on Tuesday that border guards arrested from August 10 to 26 a total of 230 people of various nationalities over infiltration and illegal migration attempts.

In a statement on Tuesday, Refaie hailed the efforts exerted by border guards within the framework of the Armed Forces' efforts to combat Takfiri and criminal elements.

Border guards also seized about 3,500 kilograms of marijuana and hashish alongside one million narcotic pills.
