CAIRO – 28 August 2017: The National Journalism Authority has selected on Monday new board members for the state-owned newspapers and news agencies. It is noted that the boards of such institutions are constituted of both appointed and elected members.
For Al Ahram Institute, Alaa Thabet, Ezzat Ibrahim Michael, Mohamed Fayez Farahat, Magued Mounir, Mohamed Shabana, and Ahmed Ali Moussa were appointed temporarily.
For El Tahrir Printing and Publishing House, Abdel Razek Tawfik, Khaled El Sakran, Khaled Kamel, Ibrahim Abou Keila, Shaima’ Abdel Elah Abdel Hamid, and Alaa Moatamed were appointed temporarily.
That temporary appointment will last until the promulgation of the law regulating journalism and media.
For Akhbar El Youm Institute, the authority appointed Khaled Taha Miri Abdel Rahman, Amr Raafat Mohamed El Khayat, Walid Abdel Azizi Amer, Ahmed Mohamed Galal Montasser, Meseilhy Talkhan Bakry Mansy, and Mohamed Abdel Fattah Abdel Ghani Bahnasawy.
For the Middle East News Agency (MENA), the authority appointed Mahmoud Abdel Fattah El Naggar, Sebaei Ibrahim Mohamed Ibrahim Ghebeish, Ahmed Ibrahim Abou El Wafa, Samia Mohamed Kady Yaqout, Mona Said Ali Omar, and Nahed Saad Mohamed Omar.
For Rose El Youssef Magazine, the authority appointed Hany Abdallah Mostafa Farrag El Zeir, Tarek Mohamed Radwan Ali, Ahmed Farahat Mohamed El Basha, Ayman Fathy Tawfik, Nasser Ahmed Ali, and Mohamed Abdel Meguid Fahmy.
For Dar El Hilal Publishing House, the authority appointed Ahmed Abdel El Baky Ayoub, Khaled Nageh Mahmoud Ibrahim, Nehal Fekry Mohamed Hussein El Sherif, Samar El Dessouky Abdel Salam El Malahy, Mohamed Abdel Hamid Younes, and Khaled Fathy Abdel Hamid.
For Dar El Maaref Publishing House, Mohamed Gana, Ramadan Abdel Aziz Ali, Mohamed Amin Ali El Sayed, Atef Abdel Ghani, Rasha Raafat Abdel Hamid Ali, and Mohamed Wadie Abdel Samie Mohamed Ghosai were appointed.
For the National Company for Distribution, Ahmed Mohamed Darwish, Ismail Ibrahim Ismail, Mohamed Suleiman Dawoud, Sherif Hassan Kassem, Fadya Mohamed Ahmed, and Mahfouz Waguih Mohamed were appointed.
