Azhar condemns Kabul mosque attack

CAIRO - 27 August 2017: Al Azhar on Saturday condemned Friday's terror attack on a mosque in the Afghan capital, Kabul, that left scores dead and injured.

A statement issued by Al Azhar denounced such abhorrent attacks that violate the sanctity of places of worship.

The institution extended sincere condolences to the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
