Delegation of US churches heads to visit Egypt next Sep.

CAIRO - 26 August 2017: A delegation of U.S. church heads will visit Egypt from September 9 - 12 at the invitation of the Evangelical community in Egypt.

During the visit, the delegation will meet with a number of Islamic, Christian and political religious leaders. A seminar will also be organized by the Forum for Dialogue of Cultures at the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services on Monday, September 11, titled Together in the Face of Violence and Terrorism - The Egyptian-American Role. A number of intellectuals, university professors, Muslim and Christian clerics and some civil society activists will take part in the seminar as well.

In September 2015, a delegation of the Evangelical Church visited the U.S., in coordination with Evangelical churches, to support President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi during his visit to the United Nations headquarters.
