Israeli gunboat infiltrates into Lebanese waters

BEIRUT - 26 August 2017: An Israeli gunboat violated the Lebanese waters off Ras Naqoura for a distance of 425 meters, a statement by the Lebanese army said on Friday.

The boat threw four bombs in the area before it left toward the occupied Palestinian waters, it added.

Violations are a matter of coordination between the Lebanese Armed Forces and the UNIFIL.

Also, two Israeli aircraft entered the Lebanese airspace and flew over Kafr Kila town.
