UK stands by Egypt on economic reform to tackle extremism

CAIRO - 25 August 2017: UK Minister for the Middle East Alastair Burt on Thursday said the UK stands by Egypt on the economic reform and the efforts to tackle extremism.

"Positive meetings with Egyptian FM and Minister of the Interior," Burt tweeted.

Burt arrived in Cairo on Wednesday to discuss with Egyptian officials British-Egyptian cooperation and support for Egypt, especially in economic and educational reform.
