Abbas receives phone call from Saudi FM

RAMALLAH, Aug 24 2017: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received a phone call from Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al Jubeir on Thursday.

The contact tackled the outcome of Abbas's meetings with the US delegation over the peace process.

A US delegation led by White House adviser Jared Kushner is currently on a visit to the Mideast region.

Abbas thanked Jubeir for the important role played by Saudi Arabia in the region and for its constant support of the Palestinians at all levels.
