This move was seen by observers as part of Qatar’s fear of reaching a hunger revolution that could hit after the cutting ties crisis with Arab neighbors.
The company pointed out that one ship will sail from Turkey to Qatar during the period of 20 to 25 days, to transfer product.
In early August, Iran shipped 20 tons of canned milk to Qatar. This was part of the rising trend of improving economic relations between the two countries to counter imposed sanctions on Qatar.
In June of this year, several Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bahrain set severe sanctions against Qatar and halted all economic and political relations between their governments and Qatar, pending the fulfillment of certain demands. One of their demands is for Qatar to sever all its ties with Iran.
