CAIRO - 22 August 2017: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry had talks on Tuesday with his Estonian counterpart Sven Mikser in the Estonian capital, Tallinn, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
On Monday, Shoukry embarked on a European tour that has already taken him to Russia and is scheduled to take him to Lithuania, Ahmed Abu Zeid added.
Shoukry is scheduled to deliver a message from Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid on strengthening bilateral ties and coordinating stances in several international meetings, the spokesman said.
Shoukry will also hold a series of meetings with Estonian Prime Minister Jüri Ratas and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu (Parliament of Estonia) Marko Mihkelson, the spokesman added.
This is the first time for an Egyptian minister to visit Estonia, noted the spokesman.
