UK amb.PhD applications open as part of Newton-Mosharafa Fund

CAIRO - 21 August 2017: PhD applications are now open within the framework of the Newton-Mosharafa Fund, US Ambassador to Egypt John Casson said.

In a Twitter post on Sunday, Casson said: "UK Egyptian Newton-Mosharafa partnership supports science research with economic impact."

The Newton-Mosharafa Fund is £50 million, seven-year science and innovation partnership between the UK and Egypt.

The Fund brings together the British and Egyptian scientific research and innovation sectors to find joint solutions to the challenges facing Egypt in economic development and social welfare.
