CAIRO - 20 August 2017: Saudi Royal Court advisor called on Qatari pilgrims to stand against the current Qatari regime, which banned Saudi aircraft to land in Doha International Airport.
Though Qatari authorities refused granting Saudi Arabian aircraft the authorization to land in Doha International Airport, the permission to transport Qatari pilgrims from Hamad International Airport aroused the sympathy of the adviser to the Saudi Royal Court and the general supervisor of the Center for Studies and Information Affairs, Saud Al-Qahtani.
“Qatari land borders are open for you,” said Al-Qahtani. He called on Saudi nationals residing in Qatar to have patience with the Tamim regime, which prevented Saudi Airlines from transporting Qatari pilgrims to Mecca.
Al-Qahtani wrote in a letter broadcasted via his official account on Twitter: “Our people in Qatar, please have patience. The land port is open to you, and Al-Ahsa and Dammam airports are open too. You can come to perform Hajj from anywhere in the world."
Earlier on Sunday evening, Doha banned Saudi planes that were sent by Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud at his own expense to transport Qatari pilgrims to Mecca for Hajj.
